Testimonials From Some of Jim's Customers

This past week we moved our Baby Grand Piano from Atlanta to SC... well over a 3 hour drive.
Jim and his son picked the piano up the night before delivered it to the home in SC...
They were very prompt on their times and very professional and pleasant. There was not a scratch on the piano,
and they moved it several times to get it to the right position...  We would highly recommend Jims Piano Movers to anyone.
Price was right too.  Great job!!
Thank you again,

Jim,
Thanks for your help moving My Piano! I LOVE your logo, it's just like the frogs in the Movie "Meet the Robinsons".
Whenever you get to ordering more t-shirts, I would love one to wear in an upcoming 5K road race
or to a large vintage motorcycle event.
Thanks again for the referrals!

James Kidder is not only the best piano mover I have ever hired, but he is also a pleasure to do business with.
Along with his helper Austin, James handled my two pianos with extreme care and expertise,
and I felt 100% confident in his knowledge and experience of shifting and balancing the weight of the instruments.
I'll never call another mover except James Kidder!

Jim, you and your son were so totally awesome last weekend when you moved my
new Boston studio upright from a second floor apartment to 3-bedroom house
in less than an hour!!! I watched in amazement as the two of you so
carefully and professionally "ushered" my beautiful piano down 18 stairs to
your well-equipped trailer for the move. The piano was (and is) VERY heavy
and expensive so I needed a team who would be respectful of the investment
and who were also experienced in the safety elements required due to its
excessive weight. I have sung your praises to MANY folks and am so grateful
for the care you took with this job. Your price was also more than
reasonable. Another company said they would do this job for $918.00 because
it would take four guys to do it and I guess they just felt like they were
so good that they could charge so much! You and your son don't take a "back
seat" to anybody!!! I will always contact you first in the future should I
require another move. I have likewise informed the music studio with which I
am affiliated of your expertise and wonderful service. Thank you again. You
certainly are right in making the statement, "Don't trust your baby to
anyone else!"

When I finally some money together to do it, I started to call around to piano moving companies.
I wanted to get a very heavy upright player piano from my grandmother's garage in Elberton
(about 100 miles northeast of Atlanta) to my living room in Chamblee.

I called several places that advertised piano moving services. Some only moved pianos that they
had sold to you. Others said that they wouldn't travel that far. One even said that they wouldn't travel
that far and then said that, well, they would, but for such a steep price I knew it was a rip off.
Still others never returned my call.

Finally, I was referred to Jim's Piano Movers. I told him my situation briefly,
he quoted me a very fair price, and we picked a date and time. It was that simple.

Sure enough, he and Austin were at my grandmother's house at the appointed time.
She called me as soon as they left to tell me how nice and professional they were.
They got to my house and hauled that heavy piano in and set it down with no trouble.
I was impressed! Talk about a stunning combination of strength, skill, and experience.
It was only after my piano was safely in its new home that I learned that Jim has been
in the piano moving and restoration business for 32 years. It made perfect sense.

Jim and Austin were a great team and I would entrust any piano to their experience, care, and of course,
strength. Of course, their courteous and kind nature made the whole thing painless... for me, anyway!

Jim,
Just wanted to drop you a quick note to say a big "Thank You" for the superb service yesterday.
When I called, I was pleasantly surprised to find someone willing to move a 73 year old baby grand piano
and to get it done the following day.  I know it was a short, quick move but you and your son
provided great service which was professional and attentive.
I will definitely recommend Jim's Piano Movers Inc. to friends,
neighbors, and colleagues.

Thank You for doing such an outstanding job moving our mother's old Chickering baby grand piano.
It is a family heirloom that means a great deal to us. You all were so kind, caring and professional.
Thank you also for providing me with the information on the particular polish I could use to get rid
of a scratch on the piano's surface that I remember making as a child. It will be so nice to see it restored
to it's natural beauty. Thank you again.
